This is a gallery of gear as I have progressed.

My first kayak was a Necky Zoar Sport. It turns out it wasn’t I needed, but it served me well, especially at the beginning, when I didn’t know it wasn’t the right type of kayak for my ambitions!

One issue that needed fixing was that it came with bungie decklines, which are useless for rescues. On top of that they did not cover enough of the circumference of the boat.

My next boat was a Romany Sport. It’s a great boat, despite the fact that it came with some sub-standard fittings. It was delivered with the wrong colour decklines but I got them replaced.
